A firm favourite of ours over the last year, Hampshire outfit Blaenavon finally gift us with the full Let's Pray EP. Having loved the lead single previously, it's the unheard B sides that have got us all excited. Our favourite of which is 'Something Boring', whose name couldn't be further from the truth. A moody and introspective jam, the guitars are still there of course but are much less perky than normal as they almost recline into intricate and considered rifts . The morose sound suits them, with angst and sadness brooding beneath the surface. To celebrate the EP's landing the band are embarking on a huge UK tour, both supporting The Sherlocks on theirs and headlining their own with The Hunnas. We suggest you get tickets now. - SJ
